"Feelings and impressions are important to me. Often, it's not the object itself that matters, but the impression and mood it leaves. The same applies to color. I'm a follower of the coloristic school of painting; it's important to me to find the harmony of a unique state and convey character.

When choosing projects for illustration, the most important thing for me is to convey the hero's feelings, not only through a portrait of the hero, but using all means - composition, rhythm, textures, the character of lines, shadow and light."
